Powerful mid-range smartphones from China are currently conquering Germany . Xiaomi has shown the way and with Oppo another big player wants to stir up the German market. Like OnePlus, Oppo belongs to the Chinese group BBK Electronics, which is already known for its price-performance hit in the smartphone segment. And if you look at the technical characteristics of the Oppo Reno 4Z 5G , it's hard to believe that the mobile phone in the Curved Shop with 7 GB LTE , all-network and SMS flat rates is currently available for only 17.99 euros . Until November 2nd, 2020 you will also get the Oppo Enco W51 Bluetooth headset valued at 99 euros for free .
The details of the tariff at a glance:

About the smartphone: The Oppo Reno 4Z 5G has only been on the market since October 2020 and is therefore brand new. For a mid-range device, it lists excellent specifications: It has a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD + resolution and 120 Hz technology. The Mediatek Dimensity 800 octa-core processor with up to 2 GHz and 8 GB RAM ensure smooth operation and make the smartphone even interesting for gamers. There is also an ample 4,000 mAh battery and quick charging function via USB-C with up to 18 W. Even if the blue tariff does not include 5G , you could theoretically use the new cellular standard with the Reno 4Z, so it is a future-proof device .
There is a 3.5 mm jack socket, the quad rear camera takes photos in up to 48 MP and can also record 4K video , the dual front camera has a resolution of 16 MP or 2 MP. The design is chic, a fingerprint sensor is integrated in the power button. You have to cut back on the memory: Unfortunately, the 128 GB internal memory cannot be expanded using a micro SD card. Nevertheless, like the tariff, the cell phone is a real price-performance hit .
The tariff costs at a glance:
- Monthly basic fee: 24 × 17.99 euros
- One-time additional payment for the smartphone: 1 euro
- Connection price: free
- Shipping costs: 4.86 euros
- Total costs after a contract period of 24 months: 437.62 euros
GIGA does the math: What is the contract good for?
Let's get the slide rule out: If you use the contract for the minimum contract period of 24 months, the costs are 24 × 17.99 euros basic fee + 1 euro for the Oppo Reno 4Z 5G. There are also 4.86 euros in shipping costs. The connection fee does not apply. So a total of 437.62 euros .
According to idealo.de , the cell phone currently costs at least 369 euros, the Oppo Enco W51 Bluetooth headset at least 99 euros. If you subtract these values from the total costs, an effective profit of around 30 euros remains. So you not only get the tariff effectively for free, but also the hardware cheaper than buying it individually – an absolute top deal!
