Lidl is giving away LTE data volume: Prepaid tariff in the Vodafone network is now even better

Last updated on March 9, 2021

At Lidl Connect, Christmas comes a little earlier this year. Anyone who opts for one of the discounter's smart tariffs will receive twice the data volume. The campaign is limited in time – and of course the small print must also be observed. GIGA reveals how you can get up to 7 GB LTE volume for free.

Lidl Connect: double the volume in smart tariffs

Lidl has come up with a new campaign in which new customers can benefit from double the data volume. The only requirement is that the desired tariff is activated in the promotion period between November 5 and December 31, 2020. Customers therefore don't have to do anything else than choose one of the four Smart tariffs from Lidl Connect during this period.

The doubled LTE volume is granted for 12 weeks, which corresponds to three billing periods with Lidl Connect. There is no minimum term, it can be canceled every four weeks. 100 free minutes and SMS as well as a start bonus are included with the smallest of the tariffs, all others have a telephone and SMS flat rate with them. There is always a starting bonus of 10 euros.

Lidl Connect: Smart XL with 14 GB LTE volume

One of the highlights of the new campaign concerns the Smart XL tariff, which is offered for 12 weeks with 14 GB instead of 7 GB. The price for 4 weeks is 17.99 euros. The Smart S tariff is cheaper , with 6 GB instead of 3 GB being part of the offer. In any case, surfing and phone calls are made via the Vodafone network.

Those interested should know that the offer is only aimed at new customers. Even if you switch from one Lidl Connect tariff to another during the promotional period, the data volume is doubled.
