There is currently the option of downloading the TomTom navigation app to your mobile phone for free for a year and thus using one of the best navigation systems on the move. This can even do more than Google Maps.
Use TomTom Go Navigation free of charge for one year
If you don't always want to use Google Maps, you can now use TomTom. Normally you have to pay 12.99 euros a year for the “Go Navigation”. With the voucher code BILDGONAV you get almost 13 euros for free and you get the premium functions for free. The subscription is not extended and, according to mydealz, can even be added to existing subscriptions. This worked for many users, but the campaign is primarily intended to attract new customers. There is no harm in trying. If it works, TomTom is free for one year. The deal is particularly interesting for iPhone users, as Apple CarPlay is supported.
Price: Free
TomTom offers some additional features compared to Google Maps. Of course you can use it to navigate normally, but entire countries can also be downloaded completely, which saves data volume. The online features are also very useful. Traffic and speed camera warnings are displayed in real time. However, the latter cannot be used legally on public roads in Germany. I find the lane assistant particularly practical. It shows exactly which lane you have to take when leaving the motorway. Otherwise you can of course look for points of interest, although Google Maps is probably more extensive. For navigation in the car, TomTom is better – and now it's free.
Huawei has also developed a new navigation app:
It is not known how long the TomTom promotion will last. So if you've always been looking for an alternative to Google Maps, you should take the opportunity and get the navigation app now for free.
