To mobile: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has been on sale in Germany since September 2019. For an entry-level phone it lists good specifications: An IPS display in FHD+ resolution, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. The ingenious Snapdragon-655 chip with 8 processor cores and up to 2.2 GHz delivers more than enough power for all applications, in addition there is the amply dimensioned battery with 4,000 mAh and a quick charging function via USB-C with up to 18 W.
A jack socket for classic wired headphones is provided, the quad rear camera takes photos in up to 48 MP and can even record 4K video, the front camera has a resolution of 13 MP. The memory can be expanded by micro SD card. The design is chic, on the back there is a fingerprint sensor. The colleagues from NextPit rate the device with a grade of 4.5 out of 5. So the mobile phone is, just like the tariff, a price-performance cracker.
The costs of the tariff at a glance:
Monthly basic fee: 24 x 10,99 Euro
One-time additional payment for the smartphone: 13 Euro
Connection price: free of charge
Shipping costs: 4,86 Euro
Total costs after 24 months contract period: 281,62 Euro
Calculated: What’s the contract worth?
Why the offer is worthwhile, here once again calculated in detail: If you use the contract for the minimum contract period of 24 months, the costs amount to 24 × 10.99 Euro basic fee + 13 Euro additional equipment payment. On top of this, there are 4.86 euros in shipping costs. The Curved Shop waives a connection fee, and those who take their old telephone number with them receive a credit note of 10 euros, but we don’t count that in. The total costs of mobile phone and contract over 24 months thus amount to 281,62 Euro.
What value do you get for it? The mobile phone costs according to idealo.de in free trade currently at least 150 Euro. The action coupon has a value of 30 Euro.
If you subtract these sums from the total costs, you get the costs for the tariff alone: 281.62 Euro – 180 Euro = 101.62 Euro, purely for the tariff in the entire duration over 24 months. This is the equivalent of 4.23 euros per month – in view of the services offered, this is really something to be proud of
Why you should always cancel your mobile phone contract, we explain in this video:
