Good things take time: The Final Fantasy 7 remake is getting closer. At least the first part, but that is a topic in itself and therefore it should not go here. But here’s what: Square Enix has now revealed the various editions and pre-order bonuses that fans of the remake can look forward to. It was also announced that the US and European version of the FF7 remake will be released with a reversible cover.

Final Fantasy 7: The different editions & pre-order bonuses at a glance

With reversible cover: Much to the nostalgic delight of all fans of the original, there is a reversible cover for every version. The remake of Final Fantasy 7 will appear in Europe and the United States with two covers, from which you can choose the favorite according to your preferences.

Pre-order bonus: The pre-order bonus in the form of a DLC is also the same for all versions. This obviously represents a chocobo chick as a summoning substance aka Materia. How the new substance system works in the remake, you can read here.

In North America & Europe, all physical copies of #FinalFantasy VII Remake will come with a reversible cover, which matches Japan’s front cover being used!

Deluxe Edition & 1st Class Edition: Soundtrack, Steelbook & Statue

Deluxe Edition: The deluxe edition of the first installment of the Final Fantasy 7 remake features a host of extras, including a steelbook, special packaging, the Slobrack, and more. The edition can of course be pre-ordered, but we advise against it as always.

This is in the Deluxe Edition:

  • Sephiroth Steelbook Case
  • Artwork book as hardcover
  • Mini Soundtrack CD
  • Summoning Materia “Kaktor”
  • Special Deluxe Edition packaging

1st Class Edition: The 1st Class Edition of the Final Fantasy 7-Remakes Part 1 contains not only the deluxe edition’s goodies but also a Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona figure. However, the special deluxe packaging is not listed separately here, which is currently causing latent confusion among the fans.

That’s in it:

  • Contents of the Deluxe Edition
  • Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona figure
  • Summoning Materia “Carbunkle”

Finally, here’s an updated Look at the #FinalFantasy VII Remake 1st Class Edition.

In Europe, you can pre-order your copy now. If you’re in North America, you can subscribe to a purchase. # FF7R
