The time has finally come: Nvidia is continuing the 30 series and is releasing the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 at 2 p.m. today after the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3090. The Founder’s Edition will start at 499 euros. It will also be available as a custom card from other manufacturers.
The new Geforce RTX 3070 is 60 percent more powerful than the previous RTX 2070 card. It is powered by the new generation of RTX architecture, Ampere. Like its predecessor, the Geforce RTX 3070 has 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory. With improved ray tracing and tensor processing units, streaming multiprocessors and a G6 high-speed memory, the RTX 3070 is a graphics card that meets the highest requirements.
Availability
The availability of the Geforce RTX 3070 is difficult to predict. According to Nvidia, better availability than with the 3080 and 3090 models should be ensured – also through a delayed launch. However, we cannot say for sure whether this is really the case in the end.

Geforce RTX and the Golem PC
We have already tested the card in our new Golem all-round PC . The Geforce RTX 3070 can be used excellently for the all-round PC . This can be easily adjusted in the Dubaro configurator. Those who prefer to use a different model can also opt for the basic PC or the high-end PC .
