- Another Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra render has shown off a tiny display notch.
- We also get a look at the Galaxy Tab S8 and S8 Plus.
We got our first purported look at the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in October, showing a display notch in a rather unusual move for Samsung. We’ve since seen the vanilla Galaxy Tab S8 too, but we’ve just received another look at the entire Galaxy Tab S8 series.
Veteran leaker Evan Blass posted renders of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, namely the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and the standard Galaxy Tab S8. We haven’t seen the Plus variant in particular until now. You can view the renders below.
The image of the Ultra model indeed shows a tiny display notch here, hosting what appears to be two sensors. It’s unclear at this stage if these are two cameras or a camera and an unrelated sensor (e.g. face unlock).
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S8 and S8 Plus share a lot in common with each other based on these renders. They’ve got similarly thick bezels and almost identical button locations.
There’s not much else to glean from these renders, but previous leaks suggest the Ultra model has dual rear cameras, a magnetic strip for S Pen docking, and a 14.6-inch display. Meanwhile, a prior Tab S8 leak also points to dual rear cameras and a magnetic strip. So we’re guessing the same two features will be available on the Plus variant.
