With the publication of the Geforce RTX 3080 (test) , we have already stored it as an optional graphics card for the Golem Highend 8C in the PC configurator, now the Geforce RTX 3070 (test) follows as a new standard model. The new Nvidia graphics card is as fast as a Geforce RTX 2080 Ti, which last cost around 1,300 euros.
Compared to the previous Geforce RTX 2080 Super, the performance in the 3DMark Time Spy increases by around 20 percent with lower power consumption, and thanks to the Geforce RTX 3070 we can offer the Golem Highend 8C at 100 euros cheaper. The Geforce RTX 3080 can still be selected as an update option, provided that availability is guaranteed at the time of purchase.
We have also updated the Golem Allround 6C, it is available with the Geforce RTX 3070 on request. Compared to the preconfigured Geforce RTX 2070 Super, the speed increases by 35 percent, the power consumption drops a bit regardless. The surcharge for the Geforce RTX 3070 is currently 90 euros.

Why Buy a Golem PC?
The computers consist of components that we already had in the test laboratory and for which we have our own test reports. We know in advance how high the frame rate will be with a specific graphics card, how fast a processor calculates, how much memory makes sense and whether an NVMe SSD reduces the working time on a project. We only use retail instead of OEM components, i.e. hardware that is also regularly available in retail stores.
We also value low operating noise: whether in idle or under load, quiet fans are a matter of course for us. The hardware also has to be efficient, we like to forego a little additional performance if this increases the power consumption disproportionately. All systems manage without a hard drive; instead, silent and fast NVMe SSDs are used. If you want to retrofit SATA SSDs or hard drives, there are enough free slots available.
- Tested and approved components
- Only retail instead of OEM hardware
- All SSDs, no hard drives
- Silent concept with quiet fans
- Performance comparison through benchmarks
- Power consumption readings
- Distribution and assembly by Dubaro
- 2 year manufacturer warranty
To make the purchase decision easier, we list all components in detail. We also measure the speed with software that is available free of charge. Interested parties can check in advance how high the graphics, processor and system performance will be compared to other computers. In addition, we measure the power consumption in idle and load scenarios. Each of our recommendations with all individual parts and BIOS settings is evaluated by us in advance as a sample before we give approval for them.
Who builds and sells the Golem PCs?
The systems are assembled and sold by Dubaro, who has over a decade of experience in the PC sector. All Golem PCs are fully assembled and delivered with a 14-day right of return. The computers are guaranteed for two years, during which Dubaro will repair the Golem PC free of charge should a defect occur.
