Motorola is unveiling several new phones targeted at price-conscious people. The newly-announced Motorola Moto G13 and Moto G23 are the company’s newest budget handsets. They promise to bring a nice user experience at a good price.

The Moto G13 and Moto G23 will be very similar
Judging by the naming scheme with these phones, you can expect them to be on the lower end of the spectrum as it pertains to specs and features. Both phones will share similar specs in several departments Starting off with the display, both phones will share the same 6.5-inch display. Also, both phones’ displays will have a 90Hz refresh rate.
Moving onto the internals, this is another area where we see some major similarities. Both phones use the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. This is a mid-range processor from 2020, so you shouldn’t expect these phones to be powerhouses. Also, this processor doesn’t support 5G connectivity.
Both handsets come with 128GB/256GB of storage, but the Moto G23 comes with an 8GB RAM configuration along with 4GB. The Moto G13 only comes with 4GB of RAM. Both of these phones can be expanded with microSD cards up to 512GB.
As for the battery, just like with the Moto G53/G73, these handsets come with a large 5,000mAh battery. These should get you through a day and a half if not two days on a single charge.
So, both of these phones are pretty similar when it comes to the internals, but there are some big differences in the camera department. The Moto G23 comes with a triple camera setup while the lesser sibling has a dual camera setup. Both phones have a 50MP main camera, and the Moto G23 has a 5MP uawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. There’s also a 16MP selfie camera up front.
As for the G13, along with the main camera, there’s a 2MP depth sensor. Also, this phone has an 8MP selfie camera.
At the moment, we don’t know when these phones will hit the US market, but in Europe, the Moto G13 will cost €179.99. The Moto G23 will cost €199.99.
